In this article, we break down how to get Quant Alerts flowing into your server via a text channel:
Create a discord text channel with a category, name, and topic of your choice. The only requirement is that the Quant Data bot can see the text channel (when you look at the members listings of the channel, you should see our bot!)
Make sure that the Discord bot is able to send messages in the text channel.
Now the bot needs to know that this new text channel will receive Quant Alerts. To specify this, do
!setData quant_alerts #your-text-channel.That's it! When the market is open, you will receive Quant Alerts in that text channel on your server.
Note: The quant_alerts feed only supports 1 channel.
