Quant Data v3 allows users to personalize their experience by adding various tools to built-in and custom pages. This article guides you through the process of adding tools and creating custom pages.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Accessing the Tool Addition Feature:
Navigate to any page within Quant Data, either a custom or a built-in page.
Click the "+" icon at the top right of the tool tab to open the "Add Tool" previewer.
2. Choosing Your Tools:
In the "Add Tool" previewer, you will see various tools categorized under tabs such as 'Equities,' 'News,' and 'Options.'
Select the tool you wish to add by clicking on it. Example tools include 'Dark Pool Levels,' 'Net Drift,' and 'Exposure by Strike.'
3. Adding and Positioning Tools:
Once a tool is selected, it will be added to your current tab set.
You can drag and drop the tool to any location on your page to suit your viewing preference.
Tools can be resized by dragging their edges, allowing for a fully customized layout.
4. Deleting Tools
To delete any tool, click the "X" in the tool tab. Confirm that you want to delete the tool by clicking "Confirm."
If you accidentally delete a tool, you can add it back by following steps 1 & 2.
5. Creating and Managing Custom Pages:
To create a new custom page, click the 'Custom Pages' tab.
Name your page and start adding tools using the aforementioned steps.
Custom pages are saved across devices, ensuring a seamless platform experience.
In the page settings, as demonstrated below, you can customize the Name, Description, and Icon of the custom pages.
Additional Tips
You can add multiple tools to a single page, providing a comprehensive view of different data points.
Any page on the platform can be customized, including the Built-In Pages.
