Quant Data delivers large amounts of data through the Discord Bot's numerous data feeds. To allow your server to remain organized, we've implemented a robust filtering system, enabling you to efficiently categorize the data feeds by ticker, sector, news topic, and more!

How can I apply filters?

Our Discord Bot offers a /filter command that can add, remove, display, and clear filters for each channel feed. We offer the following 5 commands for working with data feed filters:

/filter show - Displays the active filters for the current channel.

You can also display filters for a specific channel by using the text-channel command option:

/filter add - Adds a filter for the specified data feed in the current channel.

If you want to receive data for every ticker EXCEPT FOR AAPL, you can exclude it like this:

/filter remove - Removes a filter for the specified data feed in the current channel.

/filter set - Overwrites all filters for the specified data feed in the current channel. This command supports multiple values, where each must be separated by a single comma.

/filter clear - Clears filters for the specified data feed in the current channel, or clears all filters for all types in the current channel if no type is specified.
